In 2020, I premiered my first film, Through the Haze, at the Cannes Film Festival, competing for the Palme d'Or for Best Short Film. Since then, Through the Haze has been featured at many prestigious festivals around the world, picking up several awards. My second short film, Under the Mountains' Shadow, had its world premiere in 2025, at International Film Festival Rotterdam. I’m currently in the pre-production phase for Subtraction, a documentary and experimental short film. Simultaneously, I'm developing the script for my first feature film, A Seat at the Table.
Two years ago, I founded Bravado Filmes - a production house where I aim to not only bring my own projects to life but also support emerging talent and foster a collaborative creative community.
I graduated in Cinematography from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, and later earned a master’s degree in Communication Sciences, specializing in Cinema and Television, at NOVA University Lisbon.
